Who we are

Familes (Families and Men In Life Experiencing Separation) is based in Limerick and supports men across Ireland. We are staffed entirely by trained volunteer counsellors — therapists, social workers, mental health nurses, and psychologists with expertise in family issues, relationship breakdown, mental health, and suicide prevention.

Our counsellors specialise in:

• Men's mental health (anxiety and depression)

• Relationship problems and separation

• Anger management

• Grief and loss

• Parenting through transition

• Domestic and family violence

• Suicide prevention

Why Familes

Separation is one of life's most challenging experiences. Many men struggle to talk about what they're going through. We believe that reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness, and that the sooner you talk to someone, the easier everything becomes.

You don't have to go through this alone

Help is available right now. The first step is just one phone call. We're here 24/7 to listen, understand, and support you through whatever you're facing.
